Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H)

MM2H is a program for non-Malaysian to enjoy special benefit as a long term stay foreigner. The Benefits are (Subject to change):

• Applicant can have ten years multiple visa with multiple time entry.
• Successful applicant can purchasing property above RM 1 million (subject to each state’s guideline).
• Allowed to import and / or purchase new vehicle in Malaysia upon condition upon approval of Finance Ministry.
• Tax Exemption is given to remittance of offshore pension fund into Malaysia & any other foreign funds transferred into Malaysia.
• Hiring of maid or servant from own country is allowed.
• Allowed to bring their children who are below 21 years old and not married as their dependents.
• Can own and actively run your own business. Can own your own business as Directors without the requirement of any local Malaysian.
• Successful applicant who is 50 plus years old is allowed to work maximum twenty (20) hours a week.

Requirements upon Application (subject to change):

Applicants are required to demonstrate the capability to support themselves financially in Malaysia without seeking employment or government assistance. The financial requirements are as follows:

For applicants below 50 years old

• Proof of bankable assets of at least MYR 500,000 (USD 125,000)
• Proof of income of at least MYR 10,000 (USD 2,500) per month

For applicants 50 years old and above

• Proof of bankable assets of at least MYR 350,000 (USD 85,000)
• Proof of income of at least MYR 10,000 (USD 2,500) per month
